The Eye Doctor

Today Elias went to visit the pediatric ophthalmologist.
We were referred to her after the dr. was concerned with some abnormal eye behaviors.
Turns out Elias has Congenital motor nystagmus nystagmus

I call it shaky eyes... they shake sometimes, He will be pretty much guaranteed to wear glasses, but we already knew that because both Andy and I wear thick glasses.... it will just be a bit earlier than we thought.

Elias in the chair with daddy ;)

Since he got his eyes dilated, I made him wear sunglasses... he only complained a little.

Last week

This past week or two we have been landscaping A LOT!

Elias has spent his days supervising our work from the shade provided by the neighbors garage.

And is working on getting rid of his diaper rash...

Man Day

Thursdays are now Man Day for Elias because I am taking an Italian class on Thursday afternoons. So far so bene.... the only reason I can half way follow the class is because of speaking Spanish.

When I came home, I found Elias helping daddy work...

They are the best!

Sausagefest

Last night we walked down to the annual sausagefest for our weekly extended family dinner.

Elias has become really proud of himself (althought he looks scared here) for being able to stand on his own two legs (with a bit of help)

Manly Boy Part 2

BEFORE:

Aunt Katie felt sorry for me, and lent mommy some blue sleep sacks fit for a king. I really like them! I feel like a real Man now! Thanks Katie!

the fair!

Last weekend, while in town for Aunt Holly's wedding, we went to the fair with Auntie Shandy and Uncle Brian. Mommy showed me the piggy and sheep barns, where she used to show animals in 4-H and FFA

Daddy met up with my grandma and puga to share an elephant ear.

He shared some crumbs with my hair. It was very nice of him because it made my hair smell sweet and extra shine for the wedding.

We also got to see a real rodeo.
At the end of the night they took me to see so many cool lights.
I loved the fair!
