favorite drawer
This is Eli's favorite drawer, the handle on the outside has always been irresistible, and he accidentally got it opened one day and discovered a whole new world of treasures hidden inside! Its so easily accessible and provides lots of entertainment and occupies his busy mind/body, so this will be Eli's special drawer that mamma doesn't make off limits.

First Time Swinging at the Park
We were so happy to have a beautiful day last Saturday. We worked on fixing up our house in Camas, painting the garage and doing a little yard work. We are hoping to sell it very soon! Elias is such a huge help, he helps by supervising happily from his car seat. He is sooo sweet (even though he is on a sleeping stike during the nights) After we finished working, we took him to swing in the park.

traveling with a baby
I always wonder what it will be like when we travel overseas with Elias. I guess my main concern is riding in cars without a carseat for him.
Right before Elias was born we went to work with the Micah Project for a week. We made a series of a day in the life of Micah videos for them...
I just found this cool newer video today

Too Soon!
I stick Eli in his crib while I shower. When I got out this morning, I found him pulled up onto his knees reading my map (time to take it down!) I thought to myself.. soon he will be pulling himself up to his feet as well!
I left the room to and came back one minute later to this:
"I'm so proud of myself mommy"
