we have a scooter

Lately, when I go to get Elias out of his crib I have been finding him laying sideways, or in some other weird position that I am sure I didnt put him in. Yesterday he managed to scoot from his blanket to under the coffee table that Andy built last year. Its a super cool table with lots of contrast:)

summer mornings

My favorite summer ritual this year is watering the garden with Elias each morning.
He is such a good helper, because he loves being outside and he inspires me to be sure and water my garden because I LOVE seeing his big blue eyes look up at me as he snuggles against me in the front pack or sling.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa on the farm

My mom is trying to build farm "ambiance" so she got some chickens and a rooster to live in the pasture with her sheep.

We went to the farm for Holly's bechelorette party this weekend. Andy couldnt join us, so Eli talked to him on the phone.

Elias practiced swimming at the farm pool too!

First Trip to the Beach!

This week we visited Grandma and Grandpa Dryden in Lincoln City for Grandma's 58th birthday and our 4th "pre"anniversary get-away. Elias' favorite part was the hike because of so many tall trees with sun breaking through them and the cool ocean breeze... he loves cool weather (despite giving birth to him, Im not sure if he is really my son afterall...)

Manly Boy

Andy told me he looks like a girl when I dress him in these PJs/Sleep sack. I think its just practical because the sleep sack was on clearance and there were no blue ones in the large size. If I hadn't taken this picture Elias would never have known that his mommy dressed him like a girl. I have resisted the ruffles and tights though!
