Stair Master

With the help of our neighbor Annabelle, Elias has discovered the stairs. She came over and gloated her new skills! Elias who is 6 weeks younger follows her lead, and is careful not to let her outdo him. As Elias climbs the stairs, he squeals with excitement, its amazingly fun and cute.

dad, what did you do? I cant climb the stairs by myself now! (we found it necessary to put up the baby gate shortly after the stairs lesson)

Swimming Lessons

The hospital down the street offers baby swimming lessons in it's physical therapy pool each Saturday. I have taken Eli a few times, but this last week was special because Andy was able to come with us allowing me to be the official videographer ;-)

birthday time!

Elias got to go to his first birthday party for a non-relative last weekend! Evangeline Hane turned 2. I grew up with her aunt and her dad in Burbank.
Evangeline was very excited about her birthday party. Elias is excited about most anything, so yes, he was excited about the birthday party too!
We got to wear birthday hats, and see auntie Shanda and her baby belly! Sooooo excited to celebrate auntie Shanda's baby's 0th birthday this June!

Timmy Time!

Last week cousin Timmy spent the afternoon with us at our house! This is the first time we have really hung out with just Timmy, no brothers or sister around, and at our house!

He is so much fun, and Elias loves him. Timmy is enthusiastic about toys, and is as sweet as can be. I have been dreading Eli growing out of his baby stage, he won't be as cute and sweet and cuddly, and he will start throwing tantrums, etc. No thanks!
Timmy helped me see that just because he's not a baby, he can still be a joy!



Elias really likes watching and learning from Timmy. "Wow Timmy can eat non-pureed foods, maybe I should try that."

Grandma got them matching outfits for Christmas. This is all the cousins on my side of the family. My sisters 5 kids and Elias.
